Moon Over Water is a mixed media and collage painting on birch panel. It is one in a series of three paintings (Twilight Shimmer and Celestial Tears) I worked on at the same time. Starting with collage and building layers through paint and mixed media (charcoal, ink, acrylic). I had recently started working with collage in some of my paintings. This is one in a series of paintings of a study of water and the reflection of moonlight on the water. How I see the world at night reflecting in the vast dark reaches of the water.
